Transport has been and is the main means of getting to where we want. Sure there are many varieties of transport in the ever so busy lives of the human being. But one form of transport truly stands out from the rest and that is short distance travel.

Short distance travel often started with the invention of the wheel, which was then followed by the origination of the cart. Man then saw the benefits and ease the wheel brought him and didn't stop there. He went on to invent many machines and vehicles and humanity has come a long way since then.

Sure we have cars, bikes, trucks, trains and all the modes of transport that you can think of but one mode of transport is emerging as one of the most quick and convenient means of travel. Yeah, it ain't push bikes but as you might have guessed from the picture above it is the skateboard!

The skateboard started to see the dawn of light in the late 1940's and people really got interested in this little machine that one day would become a very versatile method of transport. New York as we know is one of the busiest streets in the world getting around is not as easy as it sounds. it is always buzzing with cars and vehicles going around its streets and travel by taxi almost seems impossible. So what other way is there for people to get around? Yeah you guessed it!

The boosted board truly is an innovative masterpiece that just solves the barrier to getting around anywhere you want in a moderate and extremely economical way and not to mention the joy of riding one of these. Although covering great distances maybe a hurdle due to its limited battery life but covering short distances around 7 to 12 miles can be done with ease.

The potential of the battery is still under research and will one day in the future show very promising results. Batteries that can hold its charge up to vast amounts and efficient enough to convert all the stored energy into the desired form.
